Smoking Mirror Tattoo Gallery

Malia opened Smoking Mirror as a place to honor her late father’s work. She is a second-generation artist who grew up in Oakland, helping her father paint murals all over the Bay Area. She began tattooing as a way to support her two children, and has been in the industry ever since. Having had her work published in numerous tattoo books over the years, her current goal is building a community for tattooed individuals of all identities and backgrounds who want a place to feel safe, heard, and respected.
